Uporaba socialnih robotov pri oskrbi pacientov z demenco v domačem okolju

S staranjem prebivalstva se pričakuje naraščanje pojavnosti demence. Vključevanje robotov v oskrbo oseb z demenco ima lahko pozitivni vpliv, saj lahko različni roboti zmanjšajo delovno obremenitev medicinskih sester. S tem se lahko izboljša kakovost in varnost oskrbe teh pacientov. Narejen je bil pregled znanstvene literature v angleškem jeziku. Uporabljene so bile ključne besede dementia,
Alzheimer‘s, cognitive impairment, memory loss, nursing robot in robotics. Iskanje literature je potekalo od oktobra do decembra 2021 v podatkovni bazi CINAHL in brskalniku PubMed. Na področju oskrbe pacientov z demenco že obstajajo socialni roboti, ki lahko pomagajo pacientom pri spodbujanju ohranjanja kognitivnih sposobnosti in zadovoljevanju psihosocialnih potreb. To se lahko doseže z vključevanjem robotov pri zagotavljanju podpore za večjo angažiranost in komunikacijo ter z dejavnostmi za preprečevanje oziroma zmanjševanje depresije, stresa, anksioznosti in osamljenosti. Rezultati pregleda literature nakazujejo potrebo po bolj poglobljenem
raziskovanju dejavnikov uspešnega vključevanja robotov v oskrbo pacientov z demenco. Opredeliti je treba naloge teh robotov in njihov način vključevanja v oskrbo pacientov.
