Authorship Criteria

At the editorial office of the JHS journal, we expect authorship to be based on the following criteria:

  1. Contribution to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work;

  2. Drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for significant intellectual content;

  3. Final approval of the version submitted for publication;

CORRESPONDING AUTHOR
is responsible for communication between the authors and the editorial office of the JHS journal. The corresponding author ensures that (1) all co-authors agree on the authorship of the submitted contribution; (2) all co-authors have read and approved the content of the contribution prior to its submission; and (3) all co-authors have appropriately disclosed any conflicts of interest and funding.

Upon submission of a contribution for the peer-review process, the corresponding author must explicitly confirm that no part of the contribution is under peer review, in press, or already published in another journal (except in the case of abstracts).

Adding or removing authors is permitted only with the submission of written consent from all involved authors, including the author being added or removed. Once the contribution has been accepted for publication, changes to the list of authors are no longer possible.

The corresponding author is responsible for the accuracy of the content of the contribution, including the names of co-authors, their affiliations, and addresses. Furthermore, the corresponding author serves as the primary contact for any questions related to the published contribution.
