Izgorelost patronažnih medicinskih sester v delovnem okolju

Povzetek

V današnjem času se pogosto srečujemo s problemom ohranitve notranjega ravnovesja in dobrega počutja, ki se pogosto porušita zaradi vedno hitrejšega ritma življenja in obremenjenosti na delovnem mestu, kar vodi do izgorelosti zaposlenih. Namen prispevka je izpostaviti problem izgorelosti na delovnem mestu, s katerim se srečujejo patronažne medicinske sestre. Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodo raziskovanja, metodo deskripcije in tehniko anketiranja. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 279 patronažnih medicinskih sester iz petih regij. Ugotovili smo, da se je 76,7 % anketiranih patronažnih medicinskih sester srečalo z izgorelostjo na delovnem mestu, ki se je v 36,6 % kazala s slabim počutjem in v 15,1 % z zmanjšano stopnjo odprtosti za pristne medsebojne odnose z bolniki. 35,0 % patronažnih medicinskih sester zaznava svoje delo kot izčrpavajoče. Za izboljšanje svojega dela 30,4 % patronažnih medicinskih sester predlaga boljšo organizacijo in pogoje dela ter manj naporna dežurstva. Za zmanjšanje izgorelosti na delovnem mestu predlagajo povečanje števila zaposlenih, uvedbo supervizijskih delavnic in izvajanje programov za premagovanje stresa.
