Povzetek

V članku predstavljamo izsledke raziskave, v kateri smo se ukvarjali s problematiko družinskega funkcioniranja in z odražanjem duhovnosti kot vzdrževalnega ali varovalnega dejavnika pri družini, ki jo tvori 41-letni oče z diagnosticirano obsesivno-kompulzivno motnjo, 32-letna mati, 8-letna hči in 3,6-letni sin. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da je družinsko funkcioniranje neuravnoteženo, vloge in komunikacija ter pravila v družini so nejasna, čustvena povezanost in odzivnost pa znižani. Zaradi pojava motnje je družinska dinamika specifična in hkrati deluje kot vzdrževalni dejavnik motnje. Raziskava je pokazala, da intrinzične duhovne dimenzije, ki se nanašajo na upanje, smisel in ciljno usmerjenost, delujejo kot varovalni dejavnik, medtem ko ekstrinzične duhovne dimenzije, ki zajemajo set verovanj, rigidnih pravil, norm in zahtev, delujejo kot vzdrževalni dejavnik motnje.
