Author Appeals and Retractions

An author has the right to file a complaint and request clarification in the event of any perceived violation of the applicable editorial policies or ethical guidelines. Complaints may involve issues such as plagiarism, copyright infringement, misleading or incorrect research results, undisclosed conflicts of interest, bias in the peer review process, inadequate or unsatisfactory reviewer comments, and other similar concerns.

The complaint procedure is managed by the editorial board under the guidance of the editor-in-chief. In cases of suspected or alleged unethical behavior, the journal JHS will adhere to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. The handling of the complaint will begin within 8 working days, excluding the day the complaint is received. Complaints can be submitted to the editorial office at the following address: urednistvo@jhs.si
