Ocena spanja pri kritično bolnih v enotah intenzivnega zdravljenja

Spanje spada med osnovne človeške potrebe in je nujno potrebno za stabilno fizično in psihološko zdravje. Kritično bolni pacienti v enoti intenzivnega zdravljenja (EIZ) so podvrženi pomanjkanju spanja. Prisotnost bolečine, tesnobe, aplikacija zdravil, opravljanje posegov, hrup, svetloba ter akutna bolezen vplivajo na kakovost in količino njihovega spanja. Namen članka je ugotoviti, katere lestvice za oceno spanja pri kritično bolnih v EIZ so v literaturi najbolj pogosto predstavljene, in jih opisati. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela s sistematičnim pregledom literature. V končno vsebinsko analizo smo vključili 9 člankov. Ugotovili smo, da so najpogosteje omenjeni vprašalnik spanja Richarda Campbella, lestvica spanja Verrana in Snyder-Halperna in Vprašalnik o spanju v enoti intenzivnega zdravljenja. Menimo, da je v slovenskem prostoru potrebno večje zavedanje o pomembnosti spanja kritično bolnih v EIZ, pridobiti dodatno znanje o spanju in ocenjevalnih lestvicah, s katerimi lahko medicinske sestre subjektivno ocenijo spanje pacientov. S prispevkom želimo izboljšati znanje zaposlenih v zdravstvu in izboljšati kakovost spanja kritično bolnih v EIZ.
