Pomen socialnega omrežja starejših oseb pri njihovi čustveni opori ter materialni in informacijski podpori

Vzdrževanje in krepitev socialne mreže je pomemben dejavnik pri zagotavljanju kakovostnega življenja v starosti. S študijo smo želeli ugotoviti, katere osebe v socialnem omrežju nudijo starejši osebi čustveno oporo ter katere zagotavljajo informacijsko, socialno in materialno podporo. Uporabili smo kvalitativni metodološki pristop, v študijo sta bili vključeni dve osebi. Podatki so bili zbrani s polstrukturiranim intervjujem in analizirani s programom Atlas.ti 8. S študijo smo ugotovili razlike v velikosti in strukturi socialnih omrežij intervjuvanih oseb. Čustveno oporo nudijo intervjuvanima najbližji družinski člani, število ljudi, ki intervjuvanima nudijo informacijsko in materialno podporo, je večje. Na podlagi dobljenih ugotovitev lahko sklepamo, da se socialno omrežje s starostjo manjša, vendar je to zelo odvisno od življenjskega sloga osebe in njenih sposobnosti ohranjanja in krepitve socialne mreže.
