Vpliv gibalnih aktivnosti predšolskih otrok na predelovanje vestibularnih in taktilnih senzornih prilivov

Senzorna integracija je nevrološki proces, ki ga sestavlja več različnih senzornih sistemov, med katerimi sta tudi ravnotežje in dotik. Kritično obdobje za njen razvoj je v obdobju zgodnjega otroštva, ko so možgani najbolj dojemljivi, fleksibilni in sposobni organizacije. Cilj prispevka je ugotoviti, kakšna je povezava med gibalnimi aktivnostmi in razvojem senzornih sistemov ravnotežja in dotika. Za empirični del raziskave je bil uporabljen Vprašalnik o otrokovi predelavi senzornih prilivov, ki so ga izpolnili starši. V vzorec je bilo vključenih 90 otrok, starih od 4 do 5 let, od tega 42 deklic in 48 dečkov. Podatki so bili obdelani z deskriptivno in analitično metodo. Pri ugotavljanju statistično pomembnih razlik je bil uporabljen t-test za neodvisne vzorce. Analiza je pokazala, da ni statistično pomembnih razlik med spoloma in med skupinama z različnim časom udejstvovanja v gibalnih aktivnostih pri večini postavk, ki se nanašajo na predelavo vestibularnih prilivov. Opažena je bila statistično pomembna razlika med skupinama z različnim časom udejstvovanja v gibalnih aktivnostih na področju predelave taktilnih prilivov. V prihodnje bi bilo smiselno raziskavo razširiti na otroke s posebnimi potrebami in primerjati rezultate obeh populacij.
