Uporaba razvojnonevrološke obravnave in terapije senzorne integracije po Ayresovi pri otrocih s cerebralno paralizo – kvantitativna raziskava

Razvojnonevrološka obravnava in terapija senzorne integracije po Ayresovi spadata med najpogosteje uporabljena terapevtska pristopa pri rehabilitaciji otrok s cerebralno paralizo. Namen raziskave je bil pridobiti vpogled v uporabo obeh pristopov med delovnimi terapevti v Sloveniji. Uporabili smo kvantitativno deskriptivno metodo. Vzorec je sestavljalo 34 delovnih terapevtov, ki izvajajo razvojnonevrološko obravnavo in/ali terapijo senzorne integracije po Ayresovi pri otrocih s cerebralno paralizo. Terapevti so odgovarjali na vprašalnik. Pridobljene podatke smo obdelali kvantitativno z opisno statistiko. Vključeni terapevti menijo, da je za učinkovit potek obravnave potrebno upoštevati otrokovo diagnozo (82-odstotno strinjanje), uporabljati enake, standardizirane ocenjevalne instrumente (100-odstotno strinjanje), postavljati cilje skupaj s starši in z otroki (100-odstotno strinjanje) in kombinirati elemente različnih metod (razvojnonevrološka obravnava 100-odstotno, terapija senzorne integracije po Ayresovi 94-odstotno strinjanje). Za učinkovito obravnavo je, po mnenju terapevtov, potrebna ustrezna izbira terapevtskega pristopa, ki na otroka, njegovo družino in okolico gleda celostno.
