Veščine komuniciranja izvajalcev zdravstvene nege v zahtevnih interakcijah s pacienti

V zadnjih letih se je struktura pacientov, ki vstopajo v zdravstveno obravnavo, spremenila, s tem pa so se spremenile tudi potrebe po znanju, veščinah in kompetencah izvajalcev zdravstvene nege za komunikacijo z raznolikimi pacienti. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti izkušnje, potrebe in ovire izvajalcev zdravstvene nege s pacienti, ki jih doživljajo kot težavne. Zastavili smo si sedem ciljev, iz katerih smo določili raziskovalna vprašanja. Raziskava je temeljila na kvalitativnem raziskovalnem pristopu s tehniko intervjuvanja. V priložnostni vzorec je bilo vključenih deset izvajalcev zdravstvene nege, sedem oseb ženskega spola in tri osebe moškega spola, ki so stari med 26 in 58 let ter imajo med 5 in 38 let delovnih izkušenj v zdravstvu. Intervjuvanci kot poseben izziv zadnjih nekaj let vidijo predvsem paciente, ki vstopajo v zdravstveno obravnavo z višjimi pričakovanji, paciente, ki ne razumejo navodil ali jih ignorirajo, nezaupljive paciente, paciente s specifičnimi diagnozami in agresivne paciente, ob tem pa poudarjajo pomen veščin izvajalcev zdravstvene nege, ki znajo ustrezno komunicirati s takšnimi pacienti ter ohraniti zbranost in mirnost tudi v nepredvidljivih in stresnih situacijah.
